Review Of The Lockdown Bingo 🤩

Hello everyone and happy new month🎉. I’m so excited cause this is my birthday month and today is my birthday 🥳.

I’m really grateful to God for allowing me to see another year. Grateful for everything thing and blessings he has done for me. I pray for many more years.

Anyways how are you all doing? Hope you are all doing well during this lockdown. And I hope you’ve at least tried a few things in the lockdown bingo of my last post.

If you haven’t read it, please go back to the main menu and click on the post under this or just scroll to the end of this post.

Anyways like the title of the post says, this is my personal review of the lockdown bingo. I’m going to show you all I could do from it.

I haven’t done everything yet but I just want to show you guys all I could do. It’s okay if you don’t complete all but you should at least try more than 5 of them. And if you do complete all well done 👍🏽. And let me know all about it in the comment section 👇🏽.

  1. So the first thing on the bingo was watch movies. I’ve watched a lot of movies and a good number of them are Nigerian movies. Tbh they have really improved a lot. I watch most of my movies from Netflix but you can still use other movie platforms to watch or download them.

2. The next is start a series. I’ve been binge watching a few series like; Dynasty. It’s a series about a rich family and Jade from Victorious (Elizabeth Gillies) is one of the main characters!!!,

The Bold Type. This one is about three friends who navigate life in New York and they all work for a fashion magazine.

This Is It. This is an exciting, funny and romantic series about a newlywed young couple, Tomide and Didi who try to navigate marriage life. This is actually one of my favorites 😁. Well there are others but we don’t have all day.

3. I do have a gratitude jar. I would’ve put a picture here for y’all to see but my little sister will ransack my room for it 😂. You can use any small jar or container for it.

4. Cook or bake something new. Ahh this is my favorite. Fun fact about me; I love cooking and baking. It’s kinda my idea of meditation. I know how can cooking or baking that is so stressful for some be a form of meditation for me! 😂😂😂.

This is a Sloopy Joe. It’s a sandwich that is made up of ground beef in a tomato ketchup sauce with onions and other spices. It goes well with chips and a cold drink. It’s absolutely delicious 🤤

5. Make popcorn at home. This one was so easy for me sha. You need popcorn kernels, sugar, salt(optional) and groundnut oil or any oil of your choice.

My homemade popcorn 🍿

6. Start exercising or yoga. I chose yoga sha. I follow Jellybum on twitter and she inspired me to start taking yoga seriously cause have you seen her body! And she’s so flexible 👌🏽.

7. Join a social media challenge. I joined in on the Duduke challenge.

8. Practice your love languages on yourself. My main love language is quality time so I endeavor to spend time with myself a lot. My friends think I’m self centered but who cares. My me time is essential 😌.

9. Write a letter to your future self. I have written one but that will be a blog post later on.

10. Write down your goals for the next year. Done ✅

11. Learn how do drive or change a light bulb. I’ve learnt how to change a light bulb. I just want to tell y’all….. drumroll please….. that I can now drive!!! At first my parents didn’t let me touch their car even after driving school but now I’m like the errand girl in house😂.

12. Learn a new skill. I’ve learnt how to cook in large quantities. I know it’s not much of a big deal but considering that lots of people can’t do it it’s a skill for me.

13. Read books of different genres. I’ve really been into Nigerian literature lately and I absolutely love it! I’ve read Stay with me by Ayobami Adebayo and Welcome to Lagos by Chibundu Onuzo and a few others.

24. Declutter your room. I’ve done this. My mum was so happy ehh. I’m a bit of a hoarder, so my mum was really surprised.

25. Make a vlog about your day. I haven’t done this yet😅.

26. Pray everyday. Been doing that. I recommend this especially. There is this inner peace that praying gives you and it helps to calm your anxieties.

27. Start journaling. I have started doing this and it helps keep my thoughts in check.

28. Clean up your room. Yes I do this everyday.

29. Make smoothies. I stopped taking carbonated drinks for a while and instead took fruit smoothies. It’s really refreshing and healthy. I personally recommend this for everyone 👍🏽.

Watermelon banana smoothie

30. Learn how to turn on the generator. Well I do know how to turn on the generator, that’s if it has a key or a switch but to drag gen? Abeg no oo 😂😂.

Well this is the end of my review of the lockdown bingo. I hope you enjoyed every bit of it.

Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share😉.

Just a simple Nigerian girl trying to make a mark in the world 🐾🌹
